Tell us about your accessibility needs when booking and we'll match you with the right vehicle and driver-owner.
Unity Drive is committed to ensuring that both our digital services and our physical transportation services are accessible to all riders, including riders with disabilities. This statement covers our approach to the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) as it applies to our website and to our driver-owned vehicle fleet operating in King, Snohomish, and Pierce Counties.
Note: This statement reflects Unity Drive's current accessibility commitments for the purposes of this design preview. Final legal language is pending review by outside counsel prior to public launch.
Unity Drive is working toward conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, for unitydriver.com. This includes efforts around:
If you encounter a barrier while using our website or booking tools, please contact us using the details in the sidebar so we can address it.
Our fleet includes wheelchair-accessible NEMT (Non-Emergency Medical Transport) vehicles equipped with hydraulic or ramp-based wheelchair lifts, securement systems for wheelchairs and mobility scooters, and additional cabin space for mobility aids such as walkers and canes. When booking, riders can request a wheelchair-accessible vehicle to ensure the appropriate driver-owner and vehicle are dispatched.
Trained service animals, as defined under the ADA, are welcome in all Unity Drive vehicles at no additional charge, regardless of any general pet policy that may apply to a driver-owner's vehicle. Riders are encouraged to note that a service animal will be accompanying them at the time of booking so the driver-owner can prepare accordingly.
Driver-owners are trained to provide respectful, hands-on assistance with boarding and deboarding when requested, including assistance with wheelchair ramps and lifts, securing mobility devices for transport, and helping riders transfer safely between a mobility device and the vehicle seat where appropriate. Riders needing assistance are encouraged to note this at booking so the driver-owner can plan additional time at pickup and drop-off.
We welcome feedback on the accessibility of unitydriver.com and our transportation services. If you experience an accessibility barrier of any kind, please reach out by phone at 1-800-774-5258 or by email at support@unitydriver.com, and a member of our team will follow up with you directly.
